Through Dance\, Music\, and C acao Ceremonies\, participants reach ecstatic states\, dissolving mental b arriers and accessing deeper subconscious intelligence. It's a chance to c onnect deeply with oneself and others\, embracing freedom\, joy\, and hone sty.\n\nFor millennia\, cacao has been revered as a sacred food of the god s. In this experience\, we will share a cacao elixir\, allowing us to tap into the stillness and wisdom within. This journey creates a space to cult ivate self-awareness\, connect with profound emotions\, enhance your intui tive insights\, and align your actions with your intentions. The session b egins with intention setting\, followed by somatic exercises inspired by s hamanic traditions to induce a state of relaxed awareness or trance\, prep aring us for the dance journey ahead.\n\nWhat kind of music is played and what do we do?\nWe play music that encourages movement.\nOur sonic journey is a fusion of world music\, electronica\, dubstep\, tribal house\, class ic remixes and more!\nA few samples here:\nhttps://www.mixcloud.com/dancin gfire/\n\nWe usually have between 50 - 80 participants.\n\n*** All the act ivities during the Ecstatic Dance events are open invitations and it's you r choice to participate or not. When you feel you need a break - you can u se the cozy chill out space to lay down\, meditate or just observe and pro cess.\nIn this space\, all are welcomed into radical self-expression and a cceptance. Do yoga\, stretch\, dance like nobody's watching\, or just chil l and enjoy the music.\n\n\n- 5:30 pm - Face & Body Painting\n\n- 6:15 pm - Opening circle & Cacao Ceremony\n\n- 6:30 pm - Warm-up exercises - a com bination of Qigong and other somatic exercises designed to release tension and get the body ready to enjoy the Dance Journey.\n\n- 6:50 pm – Music starts in a low beat to give us the chance to connect with the rhythm in a relaxed way. You choose when you allow your body to be moved and come al ive\, following your inner expression. The rhythm progressively increases once the room starts to move. It may reach a high energy several times dur ing the dance and slow down to conclude with a smooth landing back to stil lness at the end.\n\n- 8:45 pm - Sound Healing - a wind-down meditative mo ment using Singing bowls\, Gongs and other acoustic instruments performed by our special guest Elena Lymbery\n\n- 9:15 pm – Closing circle – we sit together to ground using breathing and toning\, then end by clapping t ogether three times and the fourth time back to the earth to come out of t rance and end the ceremony.\n\n- 9:20 pm – Non-verbal time is over - mak e friends\, have a chat with the people you shared the space with during t he dance.\n\nArrive no later than 6:10 pm and leave whenever you want but be mindful not to disturb the other participants.\n\nEcstatic Dance Agreem ents\nTo maintain ultimate freedom\, we agree to the following:\n1. No tal king on the Dancefloor\n2. No Cellphones\n3. No street shoes on the Dancef loor (light\, soft shoes are allowed)\n4. No showing up drunk or drugged\, no pictures\, video\, or wearing of scent.\n5. From camp counselor in u pstate NY and gardening in off the grid communities in Northern California to engineering telecommunication systems for the aerospace industry and F ederal Emergency Management Agency. As an expert engineer\, he taught tech nical classes for major corporations and the White House Military Office d uring the Obama administration. Living in such different environments requ ired constant adjustments - pushed him out of the familiar\, breaking habi ts and challenged his beliefs. This rhythm became overwhelming and his bod y started to lose vitality and get sick. During a trip to California he en countered a great community of people that helped him reconnect with his i nner wisdom using music\, dance and native American practices. He quit his job and moved to California for more than 2 years to learn how to live ag ain.\nIn 2012 Adrian became a certified Conscious Dance Facilitator\, held classes in North California until the end of 2012 when he and his partner continued their journey to Australia.
