DESCRIPTION:Charles River Laboratories conducts animal experiments includin
 g canine inhalation drug and product toxicity testing on over 150 beagles 
 at 55 Union Street in Worcester\, Massachusetts.\n\nThese beagles are pois
 oned over and over through multiple experiments\, until their little bodie
 s break down at which point almost all of them will be killed.\n\nThe very
  few that do somehow miraculously make it out alive after these experiment
 s will face mental and emotional trauma for the rest of their lives from a
  life of confinement in tiny cages 24/7 and the effects of the cruel\, inv
 asive experiments.\n\nThis is of course on top of the serious health issue
 s they face from being subjected to highly invasive forced inhalation of t
 oxins over and over.\n\nWith the proper care\, almost all of these dogs ca
 n and do make remarkable recoveries when adopted out into loving families\
 , because they are resilient and strong animals.\n\nVery few ever get that
  opportunity\, though. It is the exception.. almost all of them end up bei
 ng killed.\n\nAnd none of them should even be inside those cages in these 
 awful facilities to begin with.\n\nWe hold peaceful protests outside this 
 facility twice a week:\n\nWednesdays\, 1:30-3:30 PM Saturdays\, 2:00-4:00 
 PM\n\nWe are calling on CRL to end all dog and cat experiments company-wid
 e and to work with rescues to adopt out every dog in this facility and acr
 oss the company.\n\nWe would like to see Massachusetts and CRL lead the im
 mediate transition to non-animal methods\, starting with the dogs at 55 Un
 ion Street in Worcester and 334 South Street in Shrewsbury.\n\nRain or shi
