DESCRIPTION:Right now\, many places are experiencing record-breaking temper
 atures due to the ongoing climate crisis. Hopefully our species will be ab
 le to resolve the crisis we've created\, but in the meantime it is our urg
 ent responsibility to provide aid to our animal neighbors during times of 
 extreme heat. Thankfully there are many simple things we can do that can h
 elp animals in our area.\n\nAt this Meetup we will hear tips and ideas for
  how we can provide potentially life-saving relief to our animals neighbor
 s. If you are already doing things to help animals\, we want to hear about
  it\, too!\n\nFresh coffee\, tea\, and a delicious plant-based brunch will
  be provided at the Meetup as well!\n\nWhere: Berkeley Animal Rights Cente
 r West (2414 6th St\, Berkeley)\n\nWhen: Saturday\, August 8th 11am-12:30p
 m What: Community hangout and presentation\n\n- ARC West is a 30 minute wa
 lk from North Berkeley BART and only a 10 minute walk from the 51B bus sto
 p at University and 6th St.\n\n- Dogs that like other dogs are welcome at 
 this event!\n\nThere will be plant-based brunch and coffee\, donations acc
