 rs 2026\n\nPour sa huitième édition\, la Marche pour la fermeture des ab
 attoirs reprend la formule des années précédentes avec de légères mod
 ifications.\n\nOn s’est rendu compte que les passants-es n’avaient qu
 ’à détourner la tête pour éviter d’être exposés-es aux horreurs 
 que vivent les animaux dans les abattoirs. Nous avons donc décidé de sen
 sibiliser ces passants aux cris déchirants d’animaux marchant vers la m
 ort.\n\nNous espérons que de tels cris vont suivre ces passants un bon mo
 ment et les sensibiliseront à ce qui se passe dans les abattoirs.\n\nLe c
 ortège\, avec en tête un cercueil symbolique\, sera accompagné d’une 
 musique de circonstance. Des cloches funèbres souligneront l’ambiance t
 ragique et indiqueront aux porteur-ses de changer de direction le temps d
 ’une pause. Les rangs s’ouvrent pour leur céder le passage pendant qu
 e les marcheur-ses dirigeront les affiches vers les passants.\n\nPuisqu’
 on nous empêche de capter et de diffuser les images d’horreur\, on va f
 aire entendre les cris de mort de ces animaux sensibles qui ne demandent q
 u’à vivre. Nous allons faire ressentir les atrocités que vivent les qu
 elque 200 millions animaux en bas âge abattus chaque année au Québec po
 ur notre simple plaisir gustatif.\n\nOn tient à vous avertir : ce sera di
 fficile. Difficile à entendre. Difficile à ressentir\, mais ce n’est 
 évidemment rien comparé à ce que subissent ces animaux.\n\nN’hésitez
  pas à venir marcher avec nous et à afficher vos valeurs. Trop d’anima
 ux continuent de souffrir et de subir l’horreur de ces abattoirs à caus
 e d’humains non renseignés. Soyons nombreux à sensibiliser le plus de 
 personnes possible à cette cause.\n\nFermons les abattoirs !\n\n\nThe Mar
 ch for the Closure of Slaughterhouses 2026\n\nFor its eighth edition\, the
  March for the Closure of Slaughterhouses follows the format of previous y
 ears with slight modifications.\n\nWe realized that passersby only had to 
 look away to avoid being exposed to the horrors that animals endure in sla
 ughterhouses. We therefore decided to raise awareness among these passersb
 y by playing the heart-rending cries of animals walking to their deaths.\n
 \nWe hope that such cries will stay with these passersby for a while and m
 ake them more aware of what happens in slaughterhouses.\n\nThe procession\
 , led by a symbolic coffin\, will be accompanied by appropriate music. Fun
 eral bells will underscore the tragic atmosphere and signal to the pallbea
 rers to change direction for a break.The march will open to allow them to 
 pass while the marchers direct the posters to the passersby.\n\nSince we a
 re prevented from capturing and sharing these horrific images\, we will am
 plify the death cries of these sentient animals who simply want to live. W
 e will make people feel the atrocities endured by the approximately 200 mi
 llion young animals slaughtered each year in Quebec for our mere gustatory
  pleasure.\n\nWe want to warn you: this will be difficult. Difficult to he
 ar. Difficult to feel\, but it is obviously nothing compared to what these
  animals suffer.\n\nPlease join us in marching and show your support for t
 hese values. Too many animals continue to suffer and endure the horrors of
  these slaughterhouses because of uninformed humans. Let's raise awareness
  about this cause among as many people as possible.\n\nClose the slaughter
