It explores how t his label strips pigeons of empathy\, shapes public perception and policy\ , and enables both individuals and organisations to overlook or justify th eir suffering. The presentation also considers the role of fear-based mess aging within the pest control industry\, which drives demand for harmful p ractices while generating profit. While public sentiment towards pigeons i s increasingly shifting in a more positive direction\, this talk highlight s the importance of building community\, challenging misinformation\, and promoting compassionate\, evidence-based approaches to coexistence in our urban areas.
