DESCRIPTION:JOIN director ALESSIO SCHIAZZA\, producer Tamara Human from Ukr
aine\, plus Earthlings’ director SHAUN MONSON\, and more for this moving
exclusive Los Angeles DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE\, included in the year’s DOC
LA film festival. JOAQUIN PHOENIX quotes “In the face of so much human
suffering\, I’m struck by the tenderness in Alessio’s film. Caring abo
ut animals doesn’t mean caring less about people. In fact\, it might rev
eal just how much someone is capable of caring. And perhaps the film gives
us a way to recognize some of that same sensitivity and care in ourselves
.”\n\nAs the full-scale war in Ukraine forces millions to flee\, rescuer
s move in the opposite direction - toward destroyed villages\, active shel
ling\, and mined roads - to save animals left behind when humans are force
d to escape.\n\nA film not to miss! Join us Thursday!\n\nhttps://partiful.
