 ghts Coalition (UARC)\, a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Salt Lake City. The e
 vent is free\, open to the public\, family-friendly\, and run entirely by 
 volunteers. The event is a celebration of veganism and plant-based eating\
 , featuring dozens of exhibitors\, most of which are local businesses.\n\n
 SLC VegFest is not just an event for vegans. It’s a day of fun activitie
 s and delicious food for the entire community. According to attendee surve
 ys\, 48% of attendees of our last VegFest event were not vegan. Our primar
 y audience is Utahns interested in helping animals\, reducing their ecolog
 ical footprint\, supporting local green businesses\, living healthier\, as
  well as anyone just wanting to enjoy a fun outdoor festival with their fr
