DESCRIPTION:WHAT: Los Angeles City Council Member Traci Park heard us loud
and clear\, as her key staff member listened - at the last hearing - to ou
r many powerful arguments to ban development on Bird Island. So\, Councilw
oman Park OVERTURNED the West LA Planning Commission’s terrible decision
to allow development on Bird Island near the Ballona Wetlands\, sending t
he issue back to them to RE-CONSIDER!\n\nThis gives us ANOTHER CHANCE to s
peak truth to power and permanently save the animals who call Bird Island
home. We need TWICE as many passionate animal lovers to show up at this he
aring!\nWE CAN WIN AND MAKE HISTORY! Snacks will be served at the meeting.
\n\nJoin us after the hearing for FREE ice cream at Yoga-Urt!\n\nhttps://p
