DESCRIPTION:I_a_adl Join our outreach at the Ventura Pet & Reptile Expo\, a
cruel event where countless animals are exploited for display and sale to
the public!\n\nIt is a known fact that animal sales increase the burden o
n already overwhelmed shelters and rescues. What's not well-known to the p
ublic is that reptiles and amphibians are sentient beings who also feel pa
in and a wide range of emotions\, just like our common companion animals.
At the expo\, animals are packed into tiny plastic containers/cages and de
nied basic needs while being harassed and stared at all day. They're also
auctioned off like inanimate objects so breeders can make more profits. It
's absolutely heartbreaking and must be stopped!\n\nWhen: SUN 11/8\, 1-3pm
\n\nMeet at: Ventura County Fairgrounds\, Anacapa Hall 10 West Harbor Blvd
\, Ventura\, CA 93001\n\nParking: Free residential parking at 300 Paseo De
Playa\, Ventura. $10 on site.\n\na\n\nSigns and leaflets will be provided
\n\nPlease refrain from bringing dogs as there may not be shade or safe pl
ace for them to lie down during the outreach.\n\nSee you in Ventura! Don't
forget to sign IDA's animal sales ban petitions (links in bio) and share
 them with others!\n\nhttps://www.instagram.com/p/DfY10LCG-9n/?srtk=aGRoYXE
