Under Armour Launches Compostable Plant-Based Sportswear

Under Armour has partnered with regenerative fashion company UNLESS to launch a collection of fully plant-based athletic wear. Unveiled at Milan Design Week, the limited-edition capsule includes hoodies, t-shirts, and shorts made entirely from regenerative plant-based materials that are compostable. These pieces are made without synthetics or plastics, and once worn out, they can be safely buried in the earth without leaving behind microplastics or toxic residues.

This collaboration marks the first major product launch from UNLESS since being acquired by Under Armour. Founded in 2020, UNLESS is known as the world's first plant-based, zero-plastic regenerative fashion brand, creating clothing and footwear from natural materials that can be returned to the environment after use. The collection draws inspiration from skate, surf, and outdoor cultures, offering biodegradable garments built to meet durability standards. Currently available exclusively at the Under Armour Brand House in Baltimore, prices range from $30 to $160 with potential online availability in the future.
