ProVeg International Announcement — IT'S OFFICIAL! Plant-based school meals are becoming a reality in Poland! A historic milestone for healthy and sustainable school food has just been confirmed. The Polish Ministry of Health has officially published new regulations that introduce plant-based meals and 'Planetary Diet' principles into the national school system for the first time. Starting 1 September 2026, over 6.8 million students across nearly 36,000 institutions will benefit from a modernised approach to nutrition.
