CENTURY OF SUFFERING - MARCH ROUTE and GUIDANCE! 25th July, London. Full details for the marching route and guidance, including what to bring, is now available in the above images! Plain text summary: Meeting at the GBGB offices, 11:30. Marching from 12:00. The route is 2 miles, flat, and step-free. Join us along the route at the Roycal Courts of Justice (12:30), Trafalgar Square (13:00), or at Parliament Square for the rally (13:30). What to bring? water, sunscreen or waterproofs megaphones and drums (optional) ear plugs or ear defenders (it may be loud!) - your own placards, only a limited number available on the day! Whilst we acknowledge many of our supporters have rescued greyhounds, the march will be busy, noisy, and hot, so please don't bring any animal! We will he marching in the road, so please exercise caution and keep children close. If prams and wheelchairs can stay at the edge or tail of the march, that will make it easier to leave the road in an emergency. Be mindful of leaving your belongings anywhere they may be stolen or tripped over. Stewards and first aiders will he wearing labeled high-vis vests. In case of emergency, don't hesitate to call 999. Finally, please be respectful, peaceful, and look after one another. We are there to mark a century of suffering for greyhounds in the industry. We want you to have your say, but please avoid bad language on placards and verbally. Be kind to yourself, others on the march, our helpful stewards, and members of the public.
