Blending classic roots influences with modern grooves, their sound is rooted in positivity, unity, and good vibes. The vegan duo reflect their values through music that celebrates compassion and a kinder way of life. Known for their engaging live performances and quirky lyrics, BFriendly create an atmosphere that gets crowds dancing, singing, and smiling from start to finish. With their 5th album set for online release in late Spring, the duo continue to develop their repertoire. With BFriendly 🔘1:00pm Rob Smith from We The Free Rob has been volunteering with We The Free since 2022, and has seen his local chapter develop from a handful of activists to a group of 20+ regulars attending events across the whole of Kent. In this talk, Rob will describe his own journey, from becoming vegan to being a regular outreacher at these events. You'll hear about the core values of We The Free, how you can get involved and what WTF has to offer you. With Trainer Benny Green 🔘3pm Live Music - Ian Haywood Ian Haywood is a singer-songwriter whose music weaves together an original and distinctive blend of folk and country, rooted in heartfelt storytelling and outstanding musicianship, and offering audiences a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly unique. Ian’s music reflects his vegan values, resonating with audiences who share a love for kindness and compassion. Drawing on decades of musical experience as a gigging musician, concert pianist and classical composer, Ian brings a rare level of craftsmanship, reflection and emotional depth to his songwriting. His creative journey spans a wide spectrum, from composing meditation music to performing on international stages. More recently, he has expanded his songwriting talents with the creation of reggae duo BFriendly, showcasing his versatility and passion for crossing genres. This Spring, Ian releases his new album, ‘Gravitate’, a collection that explores his fusion of styles and lyrical depth, and he is thrilled to be bringing his music to Dartford Vegan Festival this June!
