Seeds of Awareness 0.2: The Memory Beneath Our Feet Our first workshop with Delwar Jahan opened up meaningful conversations around ecological living, food sovereignty, indigenous seeds, responsible consumption, and our relationship with the natural world. As those discussions continued to resonate, we felt a desire to take the conversation closer to its source—the soil itself. On 9 July 2026, we invite you to join us in Baniajhuri, Manikganj, at Delwar Bhai’s natural farm, for a sunrise-to-sunset immersion into the living landscape that feeds us. Together we will explore the relationship between soil, seeds, food, ecology, and community. We will discuss why indigenous seeds matter, how food sovereignty is increasingly shaped by global politics, what makes a responsible plate, and how ecological living can become a daily practice rather than an abstract idea. This is not a conventional workshop. It is a day of observation, conversation, shared meals, and collective reflection—standing on the ground that sustains us. In a time when many of us are disconnected from the origins of our food, we hope to create space for deeper attention, meaningful memory-making, and a renewed relationship with the land. To keep the experience intimate and participatory, the group will remain small. Registration will be completed by 7 July 2026.As a vegan chef, food visionary, and conscious food activist, I believe that every seed carries a story, every meal carries a responsibility, and every healthy ecosystem begins with awareness. I look forward to sharing this journey with you. — Faiza Ahmed Vegan Chef & Food Visionary , Shanchayita https://facebook.com/events/s/seeds-of-awareness-002-the-mem/28001619709443609/
