ATTORNEY GENERAL BONTA: STAND UP TO CORPORATE ANIMAL ABUSE

directactioneverywheresf Join us in Sacramento to demand that Attorney General Rob Bonta prosecute Grimmius Cattle Company for criminal animal cruelty. Footage from Grimmius shows thousands of baby cows being confined alone for months in small, wooden crates measuring just under 13 square feet, as well as baby cows being shoved and thrown to the ground, sick calves being dragged and shot in the head, and calves left to die from neglect in their crates. It has been over six months since investigators and an attorney with Direct Action Everywhere met with the AG's office about these findings, yet nothing has been done. Hundreds of thousands of calves continue to suffer. Veterinarians, attorneys, residents from impacted communities, investigators, activists, and concerned Californians will be rallying outside his office. Together, we can show AG Bonta that it is unacceptable to put corporate profits over animal welfare and over the law. Following the rally, there will be a lobby day at the capitol.
