COMPACT ACT ACTION HOUR & POSTER MAKING

directactioneverywheresf We have a HUGE opportunity to help cats and dogs suffering in labs in the US! The COMPACT Act (H.R. 10522) would end all federal funding for experiments on dogs and cats! Join us for this action hour to contact our representatives to ask the to co-sponsor the COMPACT Act and to make posters for a the March to End Experimentation on Dogs! Suggested slogans and poster-making materials will be provided! The March will be right after this Meetup at 2pm meeting at UN Plaza in SF. Fresh coffee, tea, and a delicious plant-based brunch will be provided at the Meetup as well! Where: Berkeley Animal Rights Center West (2414 6th St, Berkeley) When: Saturday, October 24th 11am-12:30pm What: Hangout and presentation - ARC West is a 30 minute walk from North Berkeley BART and only a 10 minute walk from the 51B bus stop at University and 6th St. - Dogs that like other dogs are welcome at this event!
