COME WEED WITH THE HERD! Want to spend an afternoon helping Cranky's FARM while hanging out with some very inquisitive bovines? Join us Saturday 22 August from 2pm for our Weeding Bee, removing Fireweed from one of our main cattle paddocks. And yes... the cattle will be in the paddock with us! Expect curious supervisors, noses over shoulders and regular interruptions from residents who believe receiving pats is far more important than removing weeds. Anyone attending must be prepared to stop work and provide scratches whenever demanded! No experience is needed - we'll show you how to identify and safely remove the Fireweed. Every plant removed helps make our paddocks safer for our residents. Afterwards, you can stay for a casual dinner of hot dogs or burgers. There'll be a small charge, just enough to help us cover the cost of the food. Dinner is completely optional. Parking is limited, so we'll create a group chat for attendees and encourage everyone to team up with one or two others and carpool where possible. PLACES ARE LIMITED!
