Join us for a Guided Mushroom Foray on October 3 from 9–11 am around South Lake Tahoe. Whether you’re fungi-curious or already experienced, you’ll search for local mushrooms, learn from expert naturalists, practice sustainable foraging, and explore the beauty and diversity of fungi in the Sierra. Expect to cover 2–3 miles of uneven terrain while hunting for edibles, collecting for scientific study, or simply appreciating what’s growing underfoot.
