NIGHT PROTEST BOOZE, MUSIC AND ANIMAL ABUSE

Next demo: FRIDAY, July 31 from 8 to 9:30 pm! As widely reported in the media, the Los Angeles Zoo is not doing well: infrastructure is failing, animal cages are empty, and membership is falling precipitously. To generate more revenue, since the zoo can't make it during daylight hours, it sometimes opens its gates at night too, turning into a bar/dance club and encroaching on the only peace and quiet the animals have. Join us for the last of the Los Angeles Zoo's After Dark event series where we will be waiting as patrons exit to lay some truth on them! This Friday will be country night with a full bar, live music and dancing with the band Pulp Vixen who obviously don't know that foxes dont belong in zoos. As the zoo/bar patrons stumble out, we'll be there too. Join us as we have the final yee ha! FRIDAY, July 31 from 8 to 9:30 pm / LA Zoo / 5333 Zoo Drive / Free parking. Whether you want to hold a sign, chant, do speakouts, take photos and videos, bang a drum, chalk, hand out flyers or talk to zoo goers, we have a place for you with our team! Flyers and posters are provided but we welcome your own handmade signs as well.
