Social: Wildflower Walk & Vegan Picnic

Come join us for our next community social - a wildflower walk and vegan picnic at Karrgatup (Kings Park) on Saturday the 10th October. [10:30am] Wildflower Walk: - We will meet at 10:30am at the Gija Boab (near forest carpark) and then aim to begin the walk at 10:45am. - We will do the 1.5hr Botanic Garden Discovery walk at Karrgatup (Kings Park). [12pm] Picnic Lunch: - Around 12pm (after walk) we will find a nice spot around the peppermint lawn area to have a vegan lunch picnic. - Feel free to bring some vegan food to share, however no obligation to either. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect. If you can only join for the picnic or the walk, that's totally fine For the picnic: please bring a towel/blanket/cushion for you to sit on. [Getting There]: Public Transport: - Blue Cat Bus travels between Perth Busport to Kings Park via Perth Station & Elizabeth Quay Bus Station - Transperth bus route 935 from St Georges Terrace (note that 935 D terminates on Malcolm St (Parliament House), West Perth) Parking: Forrest Carpark (closest to meeting place) - "Forrest Carpark is located is the best option if you wish to see the Giant Boab, 'Gija Jumulu'.
