Standard Entry is £5 (under 16’s free) or VIP tickets are £15 to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers. The venue has disabled access Indoors Sorry our venue only allows service dogs TALKS - The Harry Horn Suite (Upstairs) 12pm: The Hidden Suffering of Pigeons: How to Recognise and Rescue Pigeons in Distress, and Advocate for Their Rights Often misunderstood and overlooked, pigeons can suffer in silence in our shared environments. This presentation will give you the knowledge and confidence to recognise when a pigeon is in distress and how to safely step in. You'll learn how to assess rescue situations—from birds trapped behind netting or inside buildings to those suffering from stringfoot and other injuries. Practical guidance will help you respond effectively and with compassion. We’ll also examine how the harmful “pest” narrative discourages rescue efforts, and explore how you can advocate for pigeons and shift public perception in their favour. With Sam from Advocacy for Pigeons 1pm: An Introduction To Manchester Animal Rights Network Joseph will give an introduction to the newly established Manchester Animal Rights Network which welcomes new and experienced campaigners who want to create a better world for all.
