YAP & CRAFT like a peer support group, plus art!

let's talk about our feelings while we craft/ make art ! FREE EVENT (open to donations) on Sunday, August 30th from 2-6pm at Cypress Trails Park (6571 Schaefer Ave, Chino CA 91710), Art Homies is gathering a community-driven space with a focus on connection & creativity! I'll be bringing some (vegan only) snacks n drinks & craft supplies to share and highly encourage you to do so as well if you're able to ! also please bring blankets to sit on in case the tables happen to be taken! please feel free to donate as well to support this event & help me afford supplies n stuff to share ! it's totally okay if you can't, come hang anyway. Safe people of all kinds are welcome. 18+! leftist, queer, BIPOC etc centered space! The support group is intended to offer a safe space to process feelings and experiences regarding the state of the world and our personal struggles. We are not licensed professionals, we are simply peers talking things out. The best way to approach supporting someone else is by asking "What's the best way I/we can support you?" Some people may want advice, some may not. Some people may want to just be heard and acknowledged and that's it. Some people might just need a hug.
