12th ProVeg Incubator Cohort Features Mycelium Tech, Next Gen Pet Food, and Cultivated Sea Bass

The 12th ProVeg Incubator cohort has been announced, featuring five impact-driven startups focusing on alt-protein and food system transformation. The programme has been extended to 20 weeks, offering in-person workshops, mentoring, and business support to the founders. The selected startups include Friends & Family Pet Food Company developing next-gen pet food, Atlantic Fish Co working on cultivated marine white fish, Fisheroo focusing on cell-based fish, Optimized Foods with a mycelium-based technology platform, and AlProtein developing protein ingredients using microalgae and water lentils.

The programme will conclude with an investor-focused demo day at ProVeg International’s New Food Conference in Berlin. The startups will pitch to investors and industry professionals, showcasing their innovative solutions for a sustainable food system. The Incubator aims to provide valuable resources and support to each startup, emphasizing the importance of building relationships and applying learnings to drive their businesses forward.
