139 Years in the Making: The State Fair of Texas Welcomes Its First Vegan Vendor

The State Fair of Texas, a historic event dating back to the late 1800s, is welcoming its first fully vegan vendor, Vegan Vibrationz. Owned by twin brothers Jovan and Josh Cole, Vegan Vibrationz is serving up popular plant-based dishes like Crunchwrap Supremes and Cauliflower Wings at the fair. The brothers see this opportunity not only as a chance to share their food with a wider audience but also to spread their mission of changing lives through veganism.

While Vegan Vibrationz is the only vendor with a completely plant-based menu, other vendors at the State Fair of Texas are offering vegan-friendly options as well. Visitors can find vegan dishes like Jamaican Veggie Patties, vegan churros, and even Good Luck Blackeyed Pea Soup from various vendors around the fairgrounds. The fair's spokesperson, Karissa Condoianis, shared that the addition of Vegan Vibrationz's booth signifies the fair's commitment to offering a wide array of food options for fairgoers to enjoy.
