A Vegan Mediterranean Brasserie Opens in NYC Next Week

City Roots Hospitality, a vegan restaurant group in NYC, is set to open its fourth vegan eatery called Anixi in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood next week. Founded by celebrity chef Guy Vaknin, the restaurant will offer Mediterranean cuisine from Greece, Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon. Anixi aims to redefine plant-based dining and showcase the possibilities of vegan food in a luxurious setting.

The menu at Anixi will feature a variety of vegan dishes such as hot and cold mezze, salads, shish kabobs, savory pastries, and traditional desserts. The restaurant will also have a bar serving artisan cocktails and a curated wine list. Designed by Studio RB, Anixi's interior will pay homage to old New York with rich architectural elements, handmade artwork, and private dining options for special occasions.
