Dorset Animal Action (DAA) has been protesting against waste disposal company Stericycle for its connections with vivisection. The protesters are calling for the company to cut ties with Marshall BioResources (MBR) Acres, an animal breeding center in Cambridgeshire. Activists claim that Stericycle is cremating dead animals on behalf of MBR, prompting ongoing protests to pressure the company to end its association with the breeding center. Nationwide protests have taken place over the past six months, with activists occupying the entrance of the company and advocating for the use of non-animal models in research instead.

Activist Stacey Stratton stated that the objective of the protests against Stericycle and its connection with MBR Acres is to eventually compel the companies to sever their collaboration with the animal breeding center. The activists aim to continue protesting peacefully and lawfully until Stericycle decides to stop working with MBR Acres. The ongoing campaign highlights the ethical concerns surrounding vivisection and the exploitation of animals for research purposes.
