Adidas Launches ‘Plant And Grow’ Vegan Shoes

Adidas has expanded its vegan shoe collection with the launch of "Plant and Grow" sandals made from animal-free materials. Inspired by nature, the sandals feature earthy colors and a speckled rubber sole that mimics the texture of soil. Priced at $105, the sandals have a synthetic upper, fabric lining, and durable rubber sole, offering a cruelty-free alternative to traditional leather and suede options.

Adidas has been actively releasing vegan-friendly footwear, including collaborations with Stella McCartney and Disney. However, the brand has chosen to continue using kangaroo leather in its Copa Mundial football boots, despite moves by Nike and Puma to phase out leather in favor of synthetic options. Adidas' new Plant and Grow sandals reflect its commitment to offering consumers sustainable and animal-friendly footwear choices while also honoring nature's inspiration in its designs.
