Dutch company AKA Foods has partnered with African ingredient solutions firm Technology Driven Concepts (TDC) to adopt its AI-ready platform for food R&D. The platform, called AKA Studio, aims to help food companies create, optimize, and launch products more quickly and affordably. By utilizing this platform, TDC hopes to improve customer responsiveness, innovate across categories, and make better decisions.

AKA Studio is designed to centralize knowledge in a structured system that will support food-specific AI as it becomes available. It organizes formulations, processes, sensory outcomes, and cost drivers in a unified environment to provide developers with insights that accelerate decision-making. This collaboration with TDC comes shortly after AKA Foods raised $17.2 million in seed funding to support the launch of AKA Studio, emphasizing the importance of building strong digital foundations for companies to fully benefit from emerging AI capabilities.
