Aldi Launches High-Protein Vegan Liquid Egg

Aldi UK has launched a high-protein vegan liquid egg, suitable for scrambling, baking, and making omelettes. The Plant Menu Plant Based Egg is fortified with vitamins D and B12 and costs £2.49 for a 364g pack. This new product is part of Aldi's largest-ever plant-based range, introduced to coincide with Veganuary.

In addition to the vegan liquid egg, Aldi has also released plant-based croissants, pains au chocolat, fried pickles, fish-free smoked salmon slices, and a variety of burgers and cheeses. The retailer's managing director of buying, Julie Ashfield, stated that the UK's interest in plant-based food is growing, prompting Aldi to expand its vegan offerings. It is recommended to act fast to purchase these products, as Aldi often discontinues plant-based items after January.
