Aldi UK Rolls Out One Planet Pizza in 1,000 Stores for Limited Time

UK-based vegan frozen food company One Planet Pizza has partnered with Aldi UK to launch its Margherita Sourdough Pizzetta in all 1,000 of the retailer's UK stores for a limited time. This marks the company's largest retail placement to date, with the product hitting shelves on January 1st after a quick onboarding process in December.

One Planet Pizza, founded in 2016, produces a range of frozen, 100% plant-based pizzas that cater to consumers seeking vegan frozen convenience meals. The company has expanded its product line to include new items such as a cheezy garlic flatbread and a mini margherita pizzetta. Aldi has been increasing its offering of vegan and plant-based products, often launching limited-time products during January to coincide with Veganuary and promoting healthier options with its new Live Healthy logo.
