Alpro and Starbucks Germany have expanded their partnership by adding Alpro Plant Protein Soy Drink to the permanent menu at Starbucks locations in Germany. The plant-based protein drinks, including Protein Vanilla Plant-Based Latte and Protein Matcha Plant-Based Latte, contain 5g of plant-based protein per 100ml. Customers can also choose the protein drink as a customization option for all existing coffee beverages for an additional charge.

This partnership aims to meet the growing demand for functional foods, specifically in response to the "Proffee" trend (protein coffee). Both companies share the ambition to make it easier for consumers to increase their plant-based protein intake. This collaboration allows Alpro to strengthen its presence in the German foodservice sector, offering a soy beverage complementing their existing plant-based options made from oats, almonds, coconut, and soy.
