Amazon Fresh Debuts Plant-Based Product Line

Amazon Fresh has launched a new plant-based product line featuring affordable vegan meat and dairy alternatives. The 15 products in the line are also SNAP EBT eligible, making vegan food more accessible to all communities. Among the offerings are plant-based milk varieties such as almond milk and protein-packed meat alternatives like vegan meatballs and burgers, all priced under $8.29.

The plant-based milk options boast 50% more calcium per serving compared to cow's milk, while the meat alternatives are made from bases like wheat, soy, and pea and offer up to 21g of protein per serving. Amazon Fresh plans to expand its vegan offerings in the future, with the new products currently available in stores and online. Customers can also enjoy a 20% discount on all Fresh brand plant-based meat products during the month of March.
