Animal Rising to Release Factory Farm Footage in Legal Challenge to UK Government, Demands 2040 Phase-Out

Animal Rising, a British animal rights organization, plans to release footage from inside British factory farms on September 1, alleging that intensive animal agriculture violates existing animal welfare laws. The organization is using this footage to push the UK government to commit to ending factory farming by 2040 and transition to a more sustainable food system.
