APAC-SCA Report Finds 76.7% of Chinese Respondents Would Try Cultivated Meat

The APAC Society for Cellular Agriculture conducted a study in four Tier 1 cities in China, finding that 76.7% of respondents would be willing to try cultivated meat and seafood at least once, despite only 9.7% being aware of these products. Consumer concerns were focused on the naturalness, safety, and health impacts of cultivated meat, with the importance of government laws and regulations playing a significant role in shaping perceptions of these products in China. The findings from the study will be valuable for businesses and policymakers looking to drive consumer awareness and acceptance of sustainable protein in the region.
