In June 2025, three animal rights activists in Worcester, UK were acquitted of charges of public nuisance. The activists were part of the nationwide campaign "Stop the Supply" which aimed to raise awareness about the environmental and ethical issues associated with dairy farming. They had blocked a Müller facility in Droitwich in September 2022, causing temporary disruption to dairy supply chains across the country.

Animal Rising, the organization behind the campaign, argued that the dairy industry contributes to climate crisis and ecosystem destruction, in addition to causing harm to animals. The court's decision to acquit the activists sends a clear message that protesting against institutionalized animal abuse and environmental destruction is not a crime. Animal Rising plans to continue advocating for a shift towards plant-based food systems and large-scale rewilding, citing a report from Oxford University that showed plant-based diets have the lowest environmental impact.
