Artyzen Hospitality Group has partnered with Shanghai-based consultancy Lever China to make 30% of the menu at each of its hotels plant-based by the end of 2027. This commitment, which has been extended from a regional pilot to the group's full portfolio, directs kitchens towards creating dishes using vegetables, legumes, grains, nuts, mushrooms, fruits, and plant-based protein products. The goal aligns with the group's brand principles of demonstrating care for guests through healthy dining choices while also fulfilling their environmental responsibility by reducing their carbon footprint.
The collaboration between Artyzen and Lever China is part of a wider push in the hospitality sector in China towards sustainability. The 30% plant-based menu target has been adopted by other major hotel groups in the region, showcasing a commitment to reducing emissions and promoting environmentally-friendly dining choices. Lever China hopes that Artyzen's expansion of this initiative will inspire further actions in the Asia-Pacific hotel industry and beyond, demonstrating that sustainable dining and world-class hospitality can go hand in hand.
