Asda Launches Vegan Cake Pops

Asda has recently launched Vegan Society-approved “Dark Choc & Honeycomb Cake Pop Bites” as part of its Free From range. These cake pops consist of gluten-free chocolate sponge filled with a rich truffle center and crunchy honeycomb-style pieces, all coated in Belgian dark chocolate. They are free from milk, eggs, and gluten, and are Vegan Society and Rainforest Alliance-approved.

In addition to the vegan cake pops, Asda has also announced their 2024 Christmas range, which includes new and existing plant-based products like No Smoked Salmon, No Turkey, and No Pork Pies. Last year, the supermarket introduced a whole plant-based “turkey” as a centerpiece dish for Christmas, in response to the growing demand for alternative proteins. Asda's expanding range of vegan options reflects the increasing popularity of plant-based choices among consumers.
