AuraLIP Closes First Funding Round for Fermented Hemp Seed Ingredients

French startup AuraLIP has successfully closed its first funding round, led by various investors including BADGE Business Angels des Grandes Écoles and Femmes Business Angels. The funding will be used to further develop AuraLIP’s Low Impact Protein, create job opportunities, and expand internationally. AuraLIP utilizes a unique hemp seed fermentation technique that enhances texture and flavor in a sustainable and scalable manner, making it suitable for various industries, including meat alternatives.

Founded in 2023 by Laetitia Halbeisen and Marine Messant, AuraLIP has garnered recognition for its innovative approach to sustainable food production. The startup has received support from various programs and grants, including the European EIT Seedbed Incubator and French Tech Seed. AuraLIP's mission is to drive change towards a more sustainable future through the production of high-quality fermented foods using hemp, a naturally protein-rich plant, and a 100% natural production process.
