Australian accessories brand Bellroy has collaborated with Modern Meadow to release a new collection of animal-free wallets made with INNOVERA, a bio-based material. The wallets, which come in four different styles, are designed to replicate the texture and appearance of leather while eliminating animal-based inputs. INNOVERA is over 80% bio-based by carbon content, making it twice as strong and lighter than traditional leather, positioning it for high durability and frequent use.

The new wallet collection includes designs such as the Hide & Seek HI and LO, Note Sleeve, and Slim Sleeve, each offering varying storage capacities and design features. This collaboration showcases the potential for sustainability and luxury to coexist in consumer products, with Bellroy being the second known brand to use INNOVERA for their products. Modern Meadow CEO David Williamson believes that this partnership demonstrates the viability of incorporating sustainable materials in high-end fashion accessories.
