Better Nature Appoints New CEO and COO as Part of Strategic Leadership Restructure

Better Nature, a prominent tempeh brand in the UK, has announced a strategic restructuring of its senior leadership team to facilitate further expansion. Elin Roberts will now serve as the sole CEO, with Dr. Ando Ahnan-Winarno taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. Alessandra Bellini, formerly of Tesco, joins as a Non-Executive Director. The reshuffling comes after a period of strong growth, with a 128% year-on-year sales increase in Q2 2025 and the company becoming the UK's top tempeh brand by volume.

Fabio Rinaldo transitions from COO to Head of Supply Chain & Product Development, while Christopher Kong, the former Co-CEO, will step back from day-to-day leadership. Roberts emphasized the need for more focused leadership to drive the company's next phase of growth, praising Kong's monumental contributions. Bellini's appointment brings expertise in customer strategy and brand marketing, positioning Better Nature to expand its presence in the UK chicken market and drive innovation in the sustainable protein sector.

Bellini expressed excitement about joining the team during this pivotal time, lauding the leadership team's clear vision and commitment to growth. Better Nature, founded in 2020, is now available in major UK retailers and Germany, signaling its continued expansion under the new leadership structure.
