Beyond Meat Adds 100 UK Leisure and Hospitality Sites to Foodservice Network

Beyond Meat has added its Beyond Burger and Beyond Sausage to the menus of 100 UK leisure and hospitality sites, including garden centres, holiday parks, and cinemas starting in June. The listings are spread across three operators, with Notcutts Garden Centres carrying both products at 19 sites, Haven Holiday Parks offering the Beyond Burger at 39 locations, and Everyman Cinemas listing the Beyond Burger at 42 sites.

The decision to expand into foodservice comes at a time when Beyond Meat is facing challenges in its retail business, making partnerships with leisure venues a strategic move. The company aims to provide delicious plant-based options to consumers in family-friendly settings with limited menu choices, catering to the seasonal peak in footfall.
