Beyond Steak Makes UK Debut At Hundreds Of Tesco Stores Nationwide

Beyond Meat has introduced its vegan Beyond Steak product in the UK, now available exclusively at 650 Tesco stores nationwide. The plant-based steak is designed to closely mimic the taste, texture, and appearance of traditional beef, providing 24g of protein per 100g with minimal saturated fat. The vegan steak has received accolades and is certified as "heart-healthy" by the American Heart Association.

The vegan steak market is rapidly growing, predicted to surpass $1 billion by 2033. The UK in particular is embracing plant-based steak options, with consumers already spending $52 million annually on similar products. Beyond Meat's Beyond Steak first entered the UK food service market last year and is now expanding to retail ahead of British Sandwich Week. No Meat Disco's Sam Jones will create a sandwich recipe featuring Beyond Steak, which is priced at £4.50 for a 160g pack at Tesco stores.
