Maggie Baird, a multi-talented activist and advocate for plant-based diets, is set to star in a new PBS series called "Climate Kitchen." The show will feature Baird cooking, sharing recipes, and meeting with activists and climate experts to promote sustainable food choices. Scheduled to air in 2027, the series will also include appearances from renowned figures such as Martha Stewart and Blue Zones expert Dan Buettner, as well as Baird's children, musicians Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell, to showcase how to incorporate climate-friendly food into everyday life.

Baird's nonprofit organization, Support+Feed, which focuses on food security and climate justice, will produce the series alongside Atlas Films and WETA, a leading PBS member station in Washington, D.C. With a mission to address the critical issue of finding ways to live more responsibly and be stewards of the natural world, Baird hopes to debunk myths surrounding the affordability and feasibility of adopting a plant-based diet. Through "Climate Kitchen," she aims to inspire viewers to make small, sustainable changes in their everyday lives that can have a lasting impact on their health and the health of the planet.
