Biokraft Foods recently hosted India's first public tasting event for cultivated meat in Mumbai, where attendees had the opportunity to sample cultivated chicken burgers and chili chicken. The event received positive feedback from over 30 representatives from key organizations, praising Biokraft's innovation and sustainability mission. The startup, founded in 2023 by CEO Kamalnayan Tibrewal, focuses on using 3D bioprinting technology to replicate the structure, texture, flavor, and nutritional profile of chicken meat.

Biokraft Foods plans to launch a cultivated chicken product in 2025, with the approval of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. The company is at the forefront of cultivated meat innovation, working with Indian regulatory bodies and institutions to revolutionize how meat is produced.
