Biotech Firms Agrobiomics and Vivici Recognized for Advances in Climate-Resilient Agriculture and Animal-Free Proteins

At the F&A Next conference, Agrobiomics and Vivici were awarded the Feike Sijbesma Sustainable Innovation Award 2025 for their advancements in climate-resilient agriculture and animal-free protein production. Agrobiomics focuses on biostimulant products to enhance crop tolerance to environmental stresses, while Vivici uses precision fermentation to create dairy proteins without animal sources. Both companies received €12,500 prizes and recognition for their innovative approaches to sustainability challenges in the food and agriculture sector.

The Feike Sijbesma Award, supported by the dsm-firmenich Progress Foundation and Wageningen University & Research, aims to promote science-based solutions for food system sustainability. The winners were acknowledged for their impactful technologies, scalability, and commitment to addressing real-world issues.
