Black VegFest Is Coming Back To NYC – Here’s How To Get Tickets

Black VegFest is returning to Brooklyn, New York City, on August 12 for its Spread Love 2 vegan festival. Celebrating the intersection of vegan living and the Black community, the event will feature top plant-based eats from over 75 chefs, panel discussions on Black food cooperatives, and social justice talks. The festival will include performances from local artists, community and plant-based leader talks, food demos, educational panels, and fitness competitions for all ages.

The festival will also offer activities for families with kids, such as a "Kids Chef" competition where children can showcase their plant-based cooking skills. General admission to the festival is free, with opportunities to access street festival vendors, picnics on the lawn, and main stage performances and panels. VIP tickets are available for purchase, providing additional perks like access to an open bar, workshops, and a visit to Liberation Farm in October. Black VegFest aims to highlight Black vegan vendors, artists, educators, activists, and community leaders in an effort to promote intersectionality in the vegan movement and provide a platform for marginalized voices in the community.
