Black Woman-Owned Vegan Snack Brand Partake Foods Expands Into Walmart

Partake Foods, a Black woman-owned brand specializing in vegan and allergy-friendly snacks, has expanded its reach by launching its products at Walmart stores nationwide. Founded in 2016 by Denise Woodard after her daughter's food allergy diagnosis, Partake aims to provide safe and inclusive snacks for all. Backed by investors such as Rhianna, H.E.R., and Jay Z’s capital fund Marcy Venture Partners, the brand's debut at Walmart marks a significant milestone in its six-year history.

Partake's cookies, available in flavors like chocolate chip, gingersnap, and birthday cake, are free of the top nine allergens and are vegan and gluten-free. In addition to cookies, the brand also offers baking mixes and breakfast mixes. Partake is committed to food inclusivity and partners with organizations like No Kid Hungry to provide meals to food-insecure families. The brand's products can now be purchased at Walmart stores, as well as in over 8,000 stores nationwide, including Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Whole Foods, and Target.
