Bollywood Star Ranveer Singh Launches Fermented Yeast Protein Powder in India

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has launched a new protein powder in India through his co-owned startup SuperYou. The vegan protein powder, called SuperYou Pro, is made from biofermented brewer's yeast and offers gut health benefits. The product is aimed at tapping into India's growing demand for plant-based protein sources, as well as addressing sustainability concerns related to livestock farming.

SuperYou Pro is available in four different flavors and contains 24-27g of protein per 36g serving. The product is free from soy, dairy, and gluten, and is designed to enhance absorption, digestibility, gut health, and muscle recovery. With plans to capture 10% of India's $1.5B protein market in the next year, SuperYou is looking to lead the way in India's protein industry, offering an alternative to traditional animal and plant-based proteins.
