Brevel has partnered with CBC Group to produce microalgae-enriched beverages and dairy alternatives on a large scale. The ten-year agreement will involve Brevel supplying CBC Group with microalgae protein, oils, and antioxidants, with CBC Group making a strategic investment in Brevel’s funding round. Brevel’s unique process of cultivating microalgae in indoor bioreactors without genetic modification allows for the production of large quantities of microalgae rich in protein, lipids, fiber, and antioxidants.

CBC Group, as Israel’s largest beverage company, aims to utilize Brevel’s technology to create better-for-you, sustainably sourced products for health-conscious consumers. The partnership is seen as instrumental in driving advancements in food-tech and climate-tech, with a commercial facility already operational in southern Israel. The collaboration between Brevel and CBC Group marks a significant step towards providing functional beverages and dairy alternatives with enhanced protein content to a growing market of health-conscious consumers.
