UK ingredient company Upcycled Plant Power (UPP) has achieved Grade A certification under the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 and Grade A Plant Based V1 certification from Eurofins on its first audit. This accomplishment positions UPP as a reliable supplier for major food manufacturers and retailers, showcasing their commitment to food safety and quality standards. The company's facility in Edgmond, Newport, Shropshire can process 2,500 tonnes of biomass annually and produces 1,000 tonnes of clean-label protein and fibre ingredients with a high degree of automation, setting the stage for future expansion.
